Access to quality healthcare is a fundamental human right, yet many underserved communities in our region struggle to receive the medical attention they need.
The month of November provided another opportunity for us to impact our host communities through the annual Agbeyewa Farms medical outreach in partnership with Grace for Impact Foundation.
This initiative, which was launched in 2022 aims to provide free health screenings, administer essential medications, and offer valuable healthcare services to our communities in Ekiti State.
For this year’s outreach, we partnered with various qualified medical professionals, community leaders, and volunteers to attend to over 500 people across Oke Ako, Odo oro, Aiyedun, Ipao, and Esun communities of Ekiti state.
Services provided include free health screening, medical consultation and distribution of free medication as required. We also held awareness campaigns and health education workshops on topics such as disease prevention, hygiene, nutrition and reproductive health.
Speaking on the success of this year’s medical outreach, Chairman, Agbeyewa farms Niyi John Olajide stated: “We are delighted to partner with well -respected community leaders and medical professionals to serve our communities.
This project reinforces our collective belief that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right that knows no boundaries, and we look forward to holding this initiative more frequently in future.”
At Agbeyewa farms, we are on a mission to build healthy and thriving communities through sustainable Agro-allied investments and the residents of our host communities will remain a priority.
As we reflect on this year’s successful outreach, the lives we have touched and the warm reception and gratitude we received from the communities, we are inspired to continue our commitment to making a positive impact by fostering healthier and successful communities.
